Metadata mapping for the specialty coffee industry. Bridging the gap between roasters and structured cafe inventory.
The Problem
Cafes spend hours manually entering tasting notes, origins, and processing methods from coffee bags into POS systems and digital menus. It is highly inefficient data duplication.
The System
Ceta acts as a centralized schema. Roasters upload metadata once; cafes subscribe to the feed to auto-populate retail shelves, e-commerce, and digital menu boards via API.
While currently archived, the architecture proved the necessity of standardizing agricultural data at the retail point.
